I hope you'll belt her to a prony brake some time and let us know what she does!

Joel.
We,might try it some year at rollag, but with the gouged bore and consequently almost no compression I'm not sure it would make all 15 ponies

Got clutch bearing mounted.
Almost done with cooling tank.
Will have update pics in a couple days.
We could be close for a New years run

We're pretty much done.
All plumbing and mounting is done.
We found an actual hot tube and ran it on it for a bit tonight.
Might fill it with water tomorrow and do a long run.

so here are the pictures of pretty much the finished product.
we successfully competed about 4 hours of run time today.
Got a knock somewhere at TDC, maybe in the wristpin, or the big end of the rod, not that bad but we will look into it.
I will upload video of the run sometime soon.
Enjoy.

Do you know about a stethoscope for pinpointing sounds? (This is pretty common knowledge, but I'll tell you just in case.) If you take the end off so you have just the hose, you can find the noise nicely by holding it in the area you suspect it's coming from. I keep one in the shop for that. Very useful. Your Reid has all sorts of sounds you don't detect over the din.

I agree. My 25hp sure needs about a week spent on it and she would purr like that. I just always put other projects in front of it.
