Default 271 injectors

so the deal is the injectors where stuck solid so i pulled them and pulled them apart to clean them out and my dumas did not make a mental note of the plunger location vs the rack position :facepalm: any one can help?

If you look closely you will see a small dot on the pinion and two small dots on the teeth of the rack, line them up and then align the flat on the plunger with the flat in the pinion. Unless the parts are corroded the dots should be evident. The dot on the pinion is directly opposite the flat that is in the bore of the pinion. (The dots are engraved) Here is a GM 71 manual on line gives a complete breakdown that may help.
