Hello;
I have a good complete Zenith carburetor off from a Wisconsin AEN, 23 cubic inch engine. The numbers on the carburetor are; 12334D and a pooly stamped number of 63B.
I don't know if this can help you as I do not know what your carburetor looks like. I do also have the intake manifold and the big oil bath air filter.
Please advise if this will help.
Regards;
Bill Rogers

bill thanks for aresponce. there is a little problem with most other carbs. the one that i have has the mounting flange set at a 45 degree angle. your carb will probably have them mounted horizontally. also is it a side draft carb.

I have a s8d and a s12d and neither have a carb. with 45* bolt pattern for the carb. Both engines look just alike. I thought that s14d was just like the other s__d engines. Do you reckon either both mine or yours has the wrong air shroud and that isn't what the engine really is? Or is the manifold bolt pattern actually different on the s14d from the others in that series?

i notice on the s12d that they have the head and an elbow that connects to a downdraft carb. on the eng the studs sit horizontal. on my engine i have a sidedraft carb and the studs sit at a 45 degree angle. this is correct according to parts manual. unfortunatly i have a good engine that was set up for propane and the idle tube that sits in the card throat was broken. i have not been able to find this part or a carb. the unit is still good for propane use. this is a 7kva generator

Judging from illustrations that I have, I would guess the carburetors for the S-10D, S-12D and S-14D are the same or similar. The S-8D uses an updraft carb with a right angle manifold that bolts to the side of the cylinder.

The S-10D and S-12D engines use a horizontal Zenith model 1408 carburetor, Wisconsin Motor No. L-86 Series according to my Wisconsin manual for the S-10D & S-12D models.

Here's a couple of scans showing carbs on S-10D, S-12D and S-14D Wisconsin gasoline engines. Maybe the carb set up was different for propane?

My engines aren't like that. Even the air shrouds are different including where the logos and model #'s are. My air shroud clearly says s12d and s8d and those shrouds wouldn't fit the engine in your photos. What goes here?
