Default Model Hit&miss Engine

Where Is A Place To Get Cast Iron To Make 8" To 9" Flywheels For Models, And How Is The Best Way To Fasten Them To The Crankshaft, I Have Had Troubles With Them Comeing Lose. Jerry B

Jerry I use a tapered key just like the full size engines or a split hub with a bolt and key like on the 1/2 size Domestic model. As for cast iron flywheels several model suppliers have different sizes available.
Try posting this question on the Scale Model Engineering Forum I am sure you will get many more suggestions and ideas David Tsr
