Default Challenge Price Challenge

Just got carried away taking pictures out in the shed. Really nice original engine, tag is missing, trip mechanism is damaged a little. Generations ago, Frank and Forrest went to buy this engine, an old gal had it in her shed and wanted to sell it. Negotiations for price ground to a halt as Forrest, who was the one who wanted it, would only go $3 on it and Mrs. Anderson wanted $5, so they started walking away! Frank got to thinking that engine might be worth the five-spot someday, so he turned around and went back and handed her the $5. One of the very few pieces I have with known local history.

Very Nice looking original engine, Thanks for sharing the picture and the good story!

I guess it should be worth the $5 by now, since occasionally I enjoy being a gambling man, I'll double your money and give ya $10 for it!

If you sell it to me, Maybe I'll end up doing good in the future too and double my money
