McCormick, the strokes of the 15 and the 20 are the same at 15 inches, wether you are talking about Bessemers or Reids. The Bessemer info comes from the "Bessemer Book" table, I measured my Reids. Interestingly enough the 15 hp Reids and Bessemers both have 8 1/2 inch pistons and the 20 hp's both have 9 1/2 inch pistons.

Let me know. I wanna be there...even if you don't need any help. At least I'll get to see that pretty paint burn off around the chimney.
You do have an exhaust pipe, don't you. Man, that thing is deafening without one.
How high is the shop ceiling? I remember bringing the sheet rock down in Rex's shop with Dave's 20. Those were some fun times.

Hey Kirk,
We'll let you know when were ready
I'm sure we could use some help
Yep the exhaust is gonna go out through the wall in our "museum" as we call it. Only the stuff that runs and is all fixed gets to be in the "museum"

Made good progress tonight. Got the slide back together, the bedplates on, and the main bearing caps on.

Okay,
We are getting very close to being ready to start the bessemer. We moved it to its new home and got it on the skids we made. If the hot tube comes this week we should be ready to start it this weekend. Here are the pics. The first 2 are of us moving it. The 3rd one is where it will spend most of its time now. And the last one is me beside my 2 biggest engines
