Default Novo help!

I could use some help in identification of this engine before I make the drive way up to possibly acquire. The seller sent me some more pictures. Strikes against it, seized up and no mag for starters. He says he cannot find any casting cracks and not sure if anything is missing. The flywheels measure out to 20" diameter. Asking to much but "best offer" is open. Anyone have an idea of model, age and HP. What would be a fair price?
Thank you all so much.

I can't tell if this one came with a Wico or not. I would say most came with a timer and buzz coil. There is still 6" of engine buried in the dirt.

The flywheels on my 1-1/2 measure 15". so yours is maybe a 2 or 3? Somewhere I have a Novo book that gives the flywheel dimension of all the models, but I can't locate it right now...
Seems like I bought it from Harry, he used to have a page w/manual reprints, but I don't see that any more either...
I think I bought my Cushman book from him too, but maybe not...
Hell, what century is it anyway?

This engine is a buzzcoil type you can see the timmer in just inside the camgear, First picture set upper photo. Looks complete only missing the Muffler. Hit & Miss Enterprises has some parts for these type S Novos. Like ronm I also have a 1 1/2 horse 15" flywheels makes me think 2 or 3 hp. Serial# on mine 53303 daes it to 1919.If you have to travel a long way to aquire it you might factor that into the cost. There were a few runners for sale on Engineads a while back you might get a price range idea from there. I see you are somewhat local, Iam in Rio Linda you can call me if you have more questions # four 9 six 2182 Phil
