Default My BALL is broke...can you help me fix it?

I just acquired a ball engine. I think its about a 25 hp. Flywheel is 63".
Glenn Ayer...do you have any info that might help me...I saw your post on the site and your pictures of your ball looks really similar to what i have.
Or anyone else have pictures, manuals, info that can help me. I'm a beginner at antique engines so any help is greatly appreciated.

email me at simplefood@wvaccess.net

Thanks Jeff

Sounds like a 15 hp BALL, should have 62 1/2 " flywheels with a 9 " bore. A 25 hp has 68 1/2 " flywheels with a 11 " bore. Do you have any picture's ? What are the casting numbers on the side of the base ? My 20 hp has 9 A 20 cast on it. A 25 hp has 10 A 20 and a 13 hp has 3 A 20.

I have a 25 H.P. Ball that I have sold although it has not yet been picked up. I do have an owners manual for Ball oilfield engines. I could send you a copy if you like. Give me a mailing address. You can contact me at hitandmiss@verizon.net . Any other info that I have you are welcome to. I received a little of the company history from the historical society in Butler, PA where the engines were built. If you would like copies of that just let me know.

Hi Jeff, I'd be glad to try giving you a hand with your Ball Engine. My Mom lives off of Indian Creek & I make it down your way a lot. I could stop by your place if I knew where ya live. I'll email ya. Feel free to give me a call if ya like ... I live in Bethany, WV ... just north of Wheeling. I've been running our Ball every weekend in October .... & I must say, It's really running sweet !
